How they grew

Montana Craft Malt

The newest tenant to the Montana Connections Business park is Montana Craft Malt. Breaking ground on a 10,000-ton state of the art craft malting facility, the company chose to locate in Montana Connections because of the strong logistical infrastructure, generous local financial incentives, and Montana Connection’s fantastic transportation links.
FedEx Freight

With local incentives from the Butte-Silver Bow local government, FedEx Freight built a 64-door cross dock facility in one of Montana Connections shovel ready parcels. The site has been so successful for FedEx Freight that work on an expansion to their existing facility will begin this summer.
REC Silicon

From their 245-acre parcel within Montana Connections, REC Silicon and their 200 full-time employees produce the world’s purest polysilicon and silicon gases for the global solar and electronics industries. REC, from their world headquarters in Oslo, Norway chose to locate one of their two North American operations in the Montana Connections Park because of the transportation links, cheap land availability, the Port of Montana’s Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) and generous local incentives.
